Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov set the strategic goals of the Fund for Entrepreneurship Development for 2021-2023, Trend reports.
This is stated in the minister’s publication on his Twitter account.
According to Jabbarov, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund’s strategic goals for 2021-2023 are to expand entrepreneurial access to finance, support the creation and development of new businesses based on innovative technologies, and ensure the fund’s sustainable development.
In 2020, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund provided manat 89.3 million (US $ 52.5 million) of concession loans to finance investment projects based on the use of new technologies.
The Entrepreneurship Development Fund has been working within the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy since 2002. It was established to strengthen government support for entrepreneurship and implements its policies in line with the country’s economic development priorities.
