Four of Hakim Ziyech’s five goals for Chelsea came in the cup competition

Chelsea reached the FA Cup final with a narrow win that ended Manchester City’s hopes for a historic quadruple.

Hakim Ziyech turned Timo Werner’s pass home at the beginning of the second half to settle a cage affair at Wembley.

The Moroccan winger had previously refused to allow an offside goal while Ben Chilwell also missed an excellent chance to open the goal for Chelsea.

Chelsea will play the semi-final winner on Sunday between Leicester and Southampton (18:30 BST).

City went into the semi-finals on Saturday hoping to become the first English club to win the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup in the same season.

More will follow.
