Sauer will be based at Central Lakes College, but will serve the state of Minnesota for teaching specialty cultures.
“I look forward to working directly with farmers to improve farming practices and increase profitability,” said Sauer in a press release.
“I want to introduce Minnesota farmers and breeders to new innovations and plant varieties, including technical training and business models. As a lifelong Minnesotan, my passion is helping companies grow with the Made in Minnesota brand. This can be achieved using my combination of horticulture and business knowledge. “
Sauer will provide producers of special crops interested in the business management program for agricultural businesses with technical and economic expertise. She can be reached at [email protected] or by phone at 651-592-1874.
