Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has promoted Group Business Director Georgia Jones to the newly created position of Head of Business Management.
CEO Jim Gall said Jones’ promotion comes because the agency has made a “significant transition” in its culture and management.
“In the past 12 months, we’ve made a significant transition across the company to ensure effectiveness is at the core of our culture. Our customers’ business problems have never been more important in determining how we use our creativity to solve problems and address those needs, ”he said.
“As we keep redefining our management role and everything that is required of this department, there is no better person than Georgia to lead this team to ensure we always provide the best possible solutions to our customers. We are very excited that she is taking the next step in her career at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne. “

Gall took over the top position in March last year when former CEO Gayle While, who held the role for only seven months, returned to the UK. The change sparked a shift in the agency’s leadership team, including the appointment of ECDs Jim Curtis and Ryan Fitzgerald to fill the void left by CCO Stephen de Wolf and the hiring of chief planning officer Jacqueline Witts and chief operating officer Dave Keating .
Jones has been with the agency since 2018 and has worked with Clemenger’s clients Belong, BMW and NAB during this time. She previously worked on the client side in London, focusing on business transformation, data-driven marketing and customer experience.
Commenting on the new role, Jones said, “I’m really excited to drive our transition from traditional account management to business management, nurture the more diverse skills on our team, and genuinely work with our clients to deliver creative solutions to their business problems. The business management team at Clemenger is an incredibly talented group of people that I am happy to lead. “
