For the first time, new Covid-19 cases in Telangana exceeded 3,000 in a single day.
According to a bulletin released by the government on Sunday, out of 1,15,311 tests conducted by 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, 3,187 new cases were discovered.
This was the highest new case ever reported in a single day in the state since the corona crisis began.
With seven patients dying in the 24 hours ending at 8 p.m. on Saturday, the total charge in the state is now 1,759 due to the pandemic.
The total number of active cases in the state now stands at 20,184, despite 787 patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
