The city is soon to witness the rush for college admissions as CBSE grades 10 and 12 exam results are likely to be announced this week.

With this in mind, the newly established Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) offers a range of opportunities for students looking to acquire a skill and prepare for the job market. The university said the students don’t know that they can opt for graduate courses that will help them acquire a skill after completing grade 10. On Tuesday, the DSEU announced that it was extending its application deadline for all of its diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses to August 17th.

The university said it will offer graduate programs for the diverse interests of students such as interior design, apparel engineering, printing and electronics, tailored to meet the needs of employers looking for skilled young people to start their careers with.

The DSEU will offer 15 diploma courses at its universities of applied sciences, 10 of which have already been passed and merged with the university. Some of the alumni of the universities of applied sciences have already made a name for themselves and want to draw the students’ attention to the career opportunities ahead of them.

Applicants are required to take an interest profiling test developed by the university, known as the Personality, Entrepreneurship and General Skills Test, to help them choose the course for which they are best suited.
