Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana opened a three-day entrepreneurial workshop for young people as part of the Delhi Police’s YUVA initiative and family members of police personnel on Wednesday.
The workshop entitled “How to Start a Business” will take place offline and online from August 25th to 27th. The aim of the workshop is to provide the trainees with comprehensive knowledge about the establishment and successful management of a company.
The workshop is organized in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII).
Training is delivered by M / s Maclead certification professionals from areas such as Banking, MSME Department, Auditing, Law Firms, Digital Marketing Professionals and Successful Entrepreneurs.
On that occasion, Rakesh Asthana said there was a time when mention of the police in every household was used to scare children. “However, community-based initiatives like YUVA have dramatically changed the perception of the police into that of a friend and helper,” he said.
YUVA is a flagship initiative of the Delhi police force to provide vocational training and skills development to disadvantaged young people who have been diverted into crime due to the stress of poverty and family circumstances.
The community’s police programs have not only helped the police force but also changed the way the police look, said CP Rakesh Asthana.
