There are really a million ways to get the same result. Here are some pieces that worked for me.
Cultivate sacred space. Find a place in your home where you can put a meditation cushion and create a small altar, even if it’s just a candle, crystal, or flower. Something super simple. I’m always on the go, so I brought a small travel kit that gets me into a room right away.
Experiment with practices and techniques. Journaling is powerful. Just do a big brain dump. Get all your ideas and fears and crazy thoughts out of your head and on paper. Make you feel empty
I sit with a cup of tea for twenty minutes. Tea is an incredible ally for awakening the mind, grounding the body, and returning to yourself. Drinking some tea helps us soften and opens us up for the day.
Meditation and breath work can be life changing. If you’re just starting out, start small. It could be five or ten minutes a day. If you say, “I will meditate for 30 minutes every day for three months,” you will likely walk for a few days and then fall off. They will say, “That was stupid. I don’t like meditation. Breath work doesn’t work. “You will lose momentum and end up poof-poof. And then you lost a treasure.
If you’re someone who doesn’t spend a lot of time in the ethereal realm, a more practical embodiment practice like dancing, yoga, or running – something that really anchors you in the body – may be better for you.
Give yourself space to explore. Start your morning exercise with five or ten minutes a day for a week. Do it with someone else – a responsibility partner. Text each other after you’ve finished your exercise. See how you feel after a week, two weeks, or a month. If your practice doesn’t work for you after the allotted period of time, change it.
Listen to your intuition. These are cleaning practices. They remove the layers, the mass, so that you can experience the true essence of yourself more flawlessly. When you do that, the people you draw into your life will absolutely change. It doesn’t mean you have to drop all of your old friends. However, you may find that you are no longer related to the same people that you once were. For example: I know I hung out with a lot of my friends because we went out drinking. We loved going out and getting drunk. And then when I stopped drinking I couldn’t relate to her in the same way. No dissent on them. It was just like, “Okay, these relationships are no longer nutritious. That doesn’t feel good. ”
I believe in the power of magnetism. We attract other things and other beings that vibrate at the same frequency as ourselves. As you deepen your relationship with the sacred feminine, you may meet more women who are also on this path, who fully possess their feminine power and redefine what it means. Women who are deeply connected to the earth and nature and who are in sync with the rhythms of this planet. And women who pave their own path and not the one that was laid out or expected by them. Our power grows stronger as we expand our spectrum of masculine and feminine energies and our ability to create from our hearts.
When we create out of the ego, fueled by competition and money, we lose our harmonious balance with the planet. But when we are able to rise in our own sacred feminine power and create our world from a place of love and service – can you imagine that?
