Enterprise Administration Software program Developer Buys Veterinary Follow Software program Maker

ANN ARBOR – Officials at DaySmart Software, the developer of business management software for salon, spa, tattoo and pet care entrepreneurs, announced the acquisition of Vetter Software of Redwood City, California, a provider of cloud-based software for the management of Veterinary practices.

This acquisition expands DaySmart’s PetService platform for veterinarians, snow groomers, and kennels.

Vetter’s software was founded in 2011 by Sagi Solomon and serves 1,400 veterinary practices. This enables veterinarians to more effectively manage and grow their businesses with functions such as planning, recording, billing, inventory tracking and customer communication. Solomon and the rest of the Vetter Software team will move to DaySmart as full-time employees.

“We are thrilled to provide a platform for veterinary practices that makes their lives easier and allows them to focus on their important roles as healthcare professionals,” said Solomon. “Our mission from the start has been to provide an exceptional customer experience. As part of the DaySmart family, we have a great opportunity to advance this mission. We are very excited about the future of our customers and employees. “

Patrick Shanahan, CEO of DaySmart, added: “Sagi and his team have created a robust, cloud-based platform and support system that perfectly meets the needs of modern veterinary practices. The combination of DaySmart and Vetter Software provides a powerful platform for veterinary practices and extends our value to more animal professionals around the world. “

This acquisition follows DaySmart’s purchase of AppointmentPlus in December 2020 as DaySmart remains committed to growth through strategic acquisitions to improve its products.

Since 1999, DaySmart has provided desktop software, payment processing systems, and cloud-based applications specifically designed for the salon, spa, pet, and tattoo industries. The range of DaySmart extends to medium-sized and medium-sized companies via the products AppointmentPlus and OpenDock. DaySmart is privately owned and has been included on the Inc. 5000 list for 10 consecutive years. More at www.DaySmart.com.
