While studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Alexander Guizzetti had all kinds of ideas for successful business ventures.
Unlike some students who insert good concepts into their “later” files and forget them or talk themselves out of them, Alexander Guizzetti was ready to make these dreams a reality.
By the time he graduated with two degrees in business, real estate and urban economics, he not only had a business plan, but had already received seed capital to get started.
This original company was a web development company that created and maintained websites for various business customers. Many customers were immediately enthusiastic about the focus on UX / UI and experienced high visibility in search queries (SEO), which led to strong sales.
Like other entrepreneurs, Guizzetti has also focused on other interesting projects and opportunities to expand his expertise in various industries.
Today he is President and Founder of 9d Ventures, a privately held company where he uses his business acumen and capital to help companies grow and thrive.
Guizzetti has an active real estate license in Arizona. He also worked briefly at Vanguard Group, where he passed the FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 license exams.
9d Ventures is now present all over the world – some days he will work a full day in the US, take a few hours off in the evening to spend time with family and exercise, and then return to Part Two “, Which starts every evening around 9 or 10 p.m. and works with international customers until the early hours of the morning.
One of his ongoing projects is DirectMessage.me, a communication platform that aims to bring celebrities, athletes, gamers and influencers together and enable them to get in touch with their fans via paid messages. This is expected to be published in the second quarter of 2021.
Part of Guizzetti’s approach to working with customers is to find out what frustrates them and work with them to figure out how to fix their “weak points” in order to create something that is satisfactory to them and their customers. He also examines existing products on the market and what it takes to compete and eventually overtake them. In many cases, he will find that an agile startup can deliver a similar product, but more efficiently and resource-conserving.
He compares established companies to cargo ships – they have an important role and are well established, but ultimately they move slowly and focus more on dynamics. By comparison, startups can be viewed as personal watercraft that are energetic and more agile, making it easy to set pivot points to get where they want to go.
Guizzetti currently resides in Scottsdale, Arizona. He enjoys spending time with his dog, scooter, and riding a bicycle or motorcycle. He recently played golf and also enjoys weight lifting and high-intensity interval training.
Staying organized is important for a busy business owner and Guizzetti is no exception, especially when their employees are in different time zones so there is always someone working.
He’s a big fan of task lists, especially higher priority tasks. If you write them on a notepad, they are also more important and eye-catching than a note on a computer document. He also has an extensive list of future projects on his phone and how to get there. He and his team occasionally look at these ideas and consider how they could be further developed or whether this is currently not feasible.
Overall, he encourages people to dig deep to find what you’re passionate about, get creative, and connect with like-minded people.
