Sigma Nu Tau, Susquehanna University’s honor society dedicated to entrepreneurship, has been recognized nationally for its programming and the academic achievement of its student members.

Susquehanna’s Chapter received the Gold Outstanding Chapter Award, the highest honor available, and was named 1st

To qualify for these recognitions, a chapter must host a guest speaker, multiple chapter meetings, corporate student events, and a pitch competition while its members have a 3.2 grade average.

Among other program successes, Susquehanna was specifically recognized for her annual House of Hawks business pitch competition.

“I am very pleased that the work of our students and their commitment to our chapter has been recognized at this level,” said Emma Fleck, Chair and Associate Professor of Management and Marketing and Consultant at Sigma Nu Tau. “These awards are proof of the caliber of our students who have made our chapter something to be very proud of.”

The prerequisites for being invited to the Sigma Nu Tau honor society are a major or minor in entrepreneurship, a grade point average of 3.2 and junior status.
