DAYTON – An old farmhouse could soon be seen on the back of a trailer pulled along an Iowa freeway to a new destination.
Scott Danielson put the house up for sale on Facebook Tuesday. That’s for free.
“We are going to build a new house and we have to move this house as soon as possible.” Said Danielson in the mail.
The house was built in 1912. Danielson said it has owned it for 40 years.
“We are ready to give the house away to avoid having to demolish it” Said Danielson. “Does it have to be moved as quickly as possible? Great home with a lot of character. “
The house is north of Dayton.
It is a two story timber frame house.
Attempts to reach Danielson through the house were unsuccessful.
As of Thursday, the house was listed as pending.
