Fats Tasks Acquisition Corp. Appoints Nils Michaelis to Govt Administration Group


SINGAPORE–(BUSINESS WIRE) – Fat Projects Acquisition Corp. (FATP), which recently filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) for a proposed $ 100 million initial public offering by a subsidiary of Fat Projects Pte. Ltd., today announced the appointment of Nils Michaelis to the Executive Management Team. Mr. Michaelis will be President, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Mergers & Acquisition. In addition, he will become Managing Partner of the investment and venture studio Fat Projects Pte. GmbH.

Mr. Michaelis’ career spans 24 years in various industries and regions and has held management positions for leading global consulting firms such as McKinsey & Company, Accenture and companies such as Bertelsmann and American Express. Mr. Michaelis has been at the forefront of digital transformation throughout his career and is an experienced expert in identifying opportunities through digital technologies, designing new approaches and business models, and then implementing them through a combination of organic and M&A-driven growth and becoming successful scale. Over the course of his career, Mr. Michaelis has driven M&A and the integration of acquisitions to accelerate and scale the business for the companies and the clients he serves – with significant M&A experience in Asia, Europe and North America.

Mr. Michaelis has been working in Singapore since August 2013 and held senior management positions at Accenture as Managing Director with responsibility for digital in Southeast Asia and most recently as responsible for transformation in consumer-oriented industries for the growth markets region (APAC, Africa Middle. East and Latin America) , who designs and executes integrated technology-supported transformation journeys for its customers across experience, skill and efficiency levels. Mr. Michaelis is deeply rooted in the global innovation and technology ecosystems and a recognized thought leader for companies, universities and government-related companies. Mr. Michaelis holds a Master of Business Administration from Leuphana University Lüneburg.
