Incap Corporation press release dated June 17, 2021 at 12:30 p.m.

Incap Corporation’s branch, Incap Electronics Estonia, has been awarded a silver label by the Responsible Business Forum in Estonia.

Incap Estonia General Manager Greg Grace said the award was an honor and a symbol of the great work the company is doing as responsible entrepreneurship has always been an integral part of Incap’s business strategy.

“Our team has set itself the goal of concentrating on the most essential economic, social and ecological corporate responsibility in our business. When we received the bronze label for the first time in 2019, we set ourselves the goal of continuously improving ourselves and are delighted to have achieved the silver label this year, ”said Grace.

In order to remain the industry’s trustworthy partner in the future and to meet the increasing expectations of all stakeholders, Incap launched a corporate responsibility program in 2020. “With specific key issues and a reporting framework, this was an important step towards a more sustainable future at Incap,” said Grace.

Incap Estonia with 100 employees is an important employer on the island of Saaremaa, producing millions of printed circuit boards or so-called “brains” of electronic devices and finished products for its customers every year. “It is important to us to offer our employees meaningful work and good working conditions and to do our part for the local community. For example, we are one of the largest employers in the local community, we are constantly improving our work environment and supporting the education and training of descendants in the Estonian electronics industry, ”explained Grace.

“As a large manufacturing company, we are also focused on reducing our environmental footprint,” said Grace. “For example, we managed to achieve significant results in reducing overall energy consumption after switching to LED lights in our production.” Grace says these are just a few examples of activities that have been carried out and planned to help Incap Estonia to achieve set goals of a responsible business strategy.
