Manchester United have increased their offer for Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund to 85 million euros.

United have already turned down an offer for the 21-year-old English winger and the last is still € 10m below the German club’s valuation.

While the most recent offer is unlikely to be accepted, it is now considered almost certain that the transfer will eventually complete.

Sancho is currently part of the English squad at Euro 2020.

Dortmund has a gentleman’s agreement with him that he can leave this summer if a club meets his rating.

Although Sancho was limited to a single short substitute appearance at Euro 2020, his performances in Dortmund were hugely impressive and sources at United see no reason why this cannot be repeated in the Premier League.

Sancho joined Borussia Dortmund from Manchester City in August 2017 for £ 10million.

City has negotiated a 15% sale clause as part of the deal and receives this for the total fee and not just for the profit.

Sancho has scored 50 goals in 137 games for Dortmund, plus three goals in 20 international games for England.

In the last three seasons he was involved in 109 goals with Dortmund.
