JKEDI to begin programs in digital advertising and marketing, fundamentals of entrepreneurship

To strengthen the entrepreneurship environment and make the youth of J&K independent, the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) will start a one-week certificate course in the basics of digital marketing and entrepreneurship (Entrepreneurship 101).

JKEDI Director, GM Dar, highlighted the importance of the course, saying that the Entrepreneurship 101 and Digital Marketing course would provide students, professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs with the knowledge, tools and resources necessary to start their business. He added that in this course, participants will learn the basics of small business management and develop compelling digital marketing strategies.

The program is open to anyone with a minimum qualification to complete a discipline required to enroll for the course. Students, aspiring entrepreneurs, and professionals looking for a career transition or advanced training in a data-driven competitive environment and learning digital marketing strategies can also apply for this course.

The digital marketing program provides a thorough understanding of the marketing landscape. It informs candidates of the analytics used to improve the customer journey and manages engaging campaigns to maximize business profits.

The Entrepreneurship 101 program aims to help entrepreneurs improve their business knowledge and provide them with the basic skills needed to successfully start a business. The course covers a variety of topics such as deciding to start a business, preparing a business plan, understanding government obligations, funding your business, and learning lessons from essential business governance.

The week-long course is taught simultaneously on the JKEDI Pampore Campus and the JKEDI Bari Brahmana Campus. Interested candidates can register for the course on the institute’s website www.jkedi.org. The last application deadline is March 20, 2021.
