Abu Dhabi: The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development has announced that registration for Venturist, its much sought-after summer entrepreneurship camp, is open for the 2021 edition.
The virtual summer camp begins on July 25th and will hold two separate 10-day camps ending on August 19th, the fund said in a statement on Sunday.
Venturist is open to 10 to 17 year old students and teaches them basic entrepreneurship skills in specialized workshops and expert guest speakers in the fields of entrepreneurship, marketing and public relations. After graduation, students receive an official certificate of attendance.
The summer camp follows a well-received inaugural 2020 edition that saw 100 students attending an extensive entrepreneurship camp that ended with students presenting their business ideas to a committee of representatives and entrepreneurs who worked firsthand with the Khalifa Fund.

Venturist will include a wide range of workshops teaching students a variety of business skills, such as innovation and invention, logo design, marketing, advertising, prototyping, budgeting and finance, and business plan development.
The Venturist Entrepreneurship Summer Camp initially opens up to 100 hopeful students who meet certain criteria, with a potential of another 100 students being accepted depending on demand.
