The two-week program for high school students certifies them in Google Analytics.
“I’ve never created a website before and kept wondering how to create a website? How do you build a brand? How do you get people’s attention? ”Said Xavier Nelson, a junior at Trinity High School.
Nelson says that being in class for the past two weeks has shown that he and the other 43 students are ready to do whatever it takes to be successful.
“It just shows a dedication to being successful. We can be at home to chill and play the game but we choose to come here and work two weeks,” said Nelson.
But it’s not just website analysis and creation that these teens have learned, it’s much more than that.
“We got down to the software level and showed how many people look at our business, how to keep a business going, and how to grow as a person and help with marketing,” said another student, Trinity Cardell.
The program ended with a graduation ceremony. The skills these students have learned in the past two weeks will last for many years, no matter what career path they have in mind.
