Bowie State University (BSU) has announced the opening of its new Entrepreneurship Living Learning Community (ELLC) valued at $ 42 million.
The six-story, mixed-use ELLC includes an Entrepreneurship Innovation Center, which houses the college’s Entrepreneurship Academy, a resource for student entrepreneur development, and the Bowie Business Innovation Center, an accelerator for local start-ups in Prince George’s County .
In this press release, the ELLC is being developed as a “real innovation hub (that) to inspire BSU students in all disciplines and to make entrepreneurship accessible. With living space for 557 students, the facility offers a co-working environment for start-ups of the BSU in the early phase with training courses and mentors on site so that students and lecturers can scale their business.
