Munich-based asset manager Meag has repositioned its team for public markets. Stefan Amenda now oversees both the multi-asset and equity team.

The Fixed Income Unit of the Asset Manager will be split into two units, with Matthias Wenzel leading the Fixed Income Solutions team, which focuses on buy and maintenance strategies for institutional clients.
In the meantime, Reiner Back will take over the active fixed income, which consists of the following three teams: Credit under Erik Rüttinger; Emerging markets under Sabine Frühhn; and macro managed by Michael Muck.
The asset manager has also put together a quantitative strategies team headed by Johann Fürstenberger.
Elsewhere, Heiderose Briem will take on responsibility for the newly created management unit, which includes the Trading Desk, Investment Risk and Business Management Services departments.
