According to the National Equity Atlas, black workers are disproportionately affected by economic inequality. They tend to focus on low-wage jobs with little chance of economic security or advancement. And with far less income to work with and limited access to capital, black and brown Americans find it difficult to acquire the assets that can improve their overall wealth.
In this episode of City Limits Winds of Change, Joe Lee explores local efforts to tackle wealth inequality by creating, maintaining, and growing black entrepreneurs to promote generational wealth.
Joe Lee works on programs and initiatives designed to help black and brown Americans improve their overall wealth.
