MILWAUKEE, WI – The 9th annual MKE Business Now Entrepreneurship Summit, hosted by Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs, will be held in Milwaukee this Saturday, January 30th, from 10am to 2pm, according to the Common Council.
The MKE Business Now Entrepreneurship Summit, a city-approved event, is designed to support the growth of local entrepreneurship and assist innovators in fueling economic development, neighborhood reinvestment and job creation.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be held practically this year and will include workshops to educate budding entrepreneurs on the resources available to help them be successful in their business activities.
The event is sponsored by Historic King Drive # 8 Business Improvement District, the City of Justice and Inclusion Office, and Alderwoman Coggs.

This year’s virtual summit will be broadcast live on the city channel (Channel 25 on Spectrum Cable and Channel 99 on AT&T U-Verse in the City of Milwaukee) and via streaming

available next week at select Milwaukee Public Library branches.
The workshops for the event include:
- 10 am – Navigating COVID: Reviewing Business Security Best Practices for Your Employees. Presented by the Milwaukee City Health Department and the Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce.
