The Northland Community & Technical College’s accounting, administration, business, digital marketing, management and marketing programs host virtual briefings that introduce prospective students of all ages and their parents to one of nine programs in the business units.
The series of information events will take place from March 22nd to April 28th.
“After a pandemic, Northland faculty, student union staff and marketing had to reinvent the ways they interact with students,” Nicki Carlson, director of admissions and enrollment management at Northland, said in a statement. “Our priority remains to provide quality support to our prospective and current students. These live virtual sessions connect potential clients directly with faculty and staff. Since many of our trainers are professionals in their field, they can bring a real perspective to the conversation. ”
The Northland School of Economics, Management and Marketing will discuss program specifications, career opportunities, job market prospects, wage dates and answer questions. In addition, Northland Student Service and Financial Assistance staff are available to provide guidance on the admissions process.
“We are excited to give students the opportunity to learn about the business programs available at Northland,” said Stephanie Leduc, Northland Marketing Instructor. “These short virtual career exploration sessions invite prospective students to interact with faculty in the business department, meet program advisors, and gather grant information in a convenient and practical format.”
