OVERLAND PARK, Kan .– (BUSINESS WIRE) – Oncor Consulting – a doctor-owned and doctor-led consulting firm – is expanding its alliance with Black & Veatch to add functionality to its digital health management passport solution and help organizations find one Support holistic approach to coordinating the distribution and management of COVID-19 vaccines. The introduction of vaccine-related data in Passport provides an additional layer of information to organizations supporting coronavirus population health management.
As vaccination spreads across the U.S., Oncor Consulting and Black & Veatch are also expanding the capabilities of Black & Veatch’s RapM Modular Health Systems (RaMHS) – quick-to-use, scalable, and comfortable enclosures – to support vaccine delivery. The digital administration of vaccination protocols is supported by the digital platform COVOPERATE ™, which is supported by Field2Base.
To accelerate positive health outcomes, COVOPERATE now includes reporting on individual vaccination dates, as well as managing a daily health questionnaire and having up-to-date access to COVID-19 test results. Questionnaires can be customized and used by the organization or company to determine a person’s access to websites such as schools, workplaces, venues, or retail locations based on real-time updates that are aligned with local, state, or national mandates or guidelines.
“We are excited to further expand the capabilities of the Passport program with the launch of our real-time integration of vaccine data into the COVOPERATE platform,” said Ed White, CEO of Field2Base. “Vaccination data can now be added by the medical administrator or by the individual using the simple features in the digital application. The uploaded vaccination logs are verified by medical professionals as part of the Passport program to ensure the authenticity of the log.”
Black & Veatch’s RaMHS units – easy to install and operational in a few days – now include refrigeration management and evolving distribution needs for vaccine delivery. These units are customizable and passport certified for air quality, environmental and health management protocols.
As part of the Passport program, Oncor Consulting also provides access to health professionals to manage vaccine distribution in each RaMHS unit.
“The widespread adoption of COVID-19 vaccines is another dimension of the new normal that we all face as we work to operate safe and healthy places to work, learn and relax,” said David Price, chief Technology Officer at Black & Veatch Management Consulting. “We are committed to providing organizations with the full range of capabilities they need to reduce risk and ensure better health outcomes for their workforce and their communities at large.”
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), all COVID-19 vaccines currently available in the US have been shown to be highly effective, although the CDC warns that COVID infections are still possible in vaccinated people. As experts continue to learn more about the protection vaccines provide, it is important that individuals continue to follow the protection protocols provided by the CDC.
Oncor Consulting’s Passport Program is rapidly becoming an industry-leading medical advisor to companies worldwide and is increasingly being used as the preferred, comprehensive, real-time solution for population health management.
“Managing population health continues to be a complicated process,” said Dr. Scott Shapiro, CEO of Oncor Consulting. “The addition of real-time vaccine distribution management and digital health tools is an important layer in the Passport program’s protection protocols. Vaccination is just part of a multi-faceted approach that companies are quickly adopting in their population health management program. ”
