Sanjay Passi, Chairman and CEO of the Gurgaon-based Pasco Group, donated Rs 10 crore to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Friday.
Of the 10 rupees donated, 9 rupees was given to the Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC) trust of TTD, while 1 crore was donated to the Sri Venkateswara Sarva Sreyas trust, The Times of India reported.
With this benefit, total donations to the SVBC Trust have exceeded Rs 25 crore, the daily added.
After Passi offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara in the sacred Tirumala Temple, he presented the donation in the form of a draft inquiry. TTD additional EO AV Dharma Reddy received the donation at Ranganayakula Mandapam in the temple complex.
After receiving the scholarship, TTD thanked Passi and offered him and his family members Teertha Prasadams.
