Dan Scott has been named CEO of Citizens Community Credit Union, the board recently announced.
A native of Fort Dodge, Scott has been with Citizens since 2007 and previously held a variety of roles including interim CEO, executive vice president / chief operations officer, vice president of operations and branch manager.
“I am honored to serve in this role for the credit union.” said Scott. “I have definitely enjoyed serving our members for the past 14 years and I am delighted to be writing the next chapter on Citizen Success with your support and all of our wonderful staff.”
Scott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from the University of Iowa’s Tippie School of Business.
He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin’s CUNA Management School and has been named a Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE).
Scott is also a board member of the Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance and the Fort Dodge Community Schools Foundation. He was named one of the Fort Dodge Region’s Top 10 Under 40s for 2019 and is a graduate of Fort Dodge Leadership.
