After Kind Oasis hosted a successful pop-up for the Milwaukee Makers Market in December, it’s doing it again. This time they are also starting a program for Milwaukee entrepreneurs called Kind Oasis + Friends.

“Kind Oasis + Friends aims to build partnerships with emerging local entrepreneurs and brands by providing space for one-day events or long-term stays,” says Kellan Dore, Marketing Manager at Kind Oasis.

The first planned event of the partnership is the Valentines Pop-up Market on Saturday, February 6th, from 11am to 3pm. The event takes place at Kind Oasis (2169 N. Farwell Ave.) and features handmade jewelry, spa gifts, candles, cards, artwork, hemp products, and pet accessories. The Heirloom MKE food truck will be on site and serve lunch.

Two of the first small companies to join Kind Oasis + Friends are CollectiveFlow MKE, which offer virtual yoga and wellness classes, and Sugar Studio, a maker of handmade chocolates, candied nuts, gift baskets and other confectionery. Both are featured in the Valentines pop-up.

“A quick, yet easy way to revive the Milwaukee economy is by helping local businesses,” said Salem Kashou, co-owner of Kind Oasis. “There are so many unique products and brands made in Milwaukee that benefit from the presence of this program, whether it is rental discounts or free retail space for a day. We’re ready and ready to serve a wide variety of branded manufacturers and manufacturers. ”

Kind Oasis offers free masks, hand sanitizer and touchless payment processing and has all CDC measures with a one-way flow for the Valentines pop-up across the store.
