LAFAYETTE, La (KLFY) – Next Level Fitness is partnering with the Smile Community Action Agency to host a summer fitness and entrepreneurship camp.
The trainers help develop young people by encouraging them to use their best skills.
Fitness trainer Amber Bessard says the post-pandemic program allows the participating children to shake things up a little and return to a sense of normalcy.

SMILE Community Action Agency to host homebuyer training course
Chloey Singleton says she enjoys the fitness routine. She says she enjoys “making new friends, exercising and getting fit”.
Throughout the week, entrepreneurs and community leaders talk to the children about what it takes to successfully achieve their dreams and goals.
Craig Mathews, CEO of the Smile Community Action Agency, says the camp will expand their spirit and cultivate greatness in them.
“We are working with the Next Level Fitness Center to teach young people the importance of having a balance between their social, emotional, physical and intellectual beings.”
There are 30 places available for low-income parents.
Lafayette Church hosts summer fortification camps to keep students fit
Parents who do not meet these requirements can still enroll their children for the program at low cost.
The camp lasts until August 6th.
The doors are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
