Subsequent Degree Health hosts children’ health and entrepreneurship summer season camp

LAFAYETTE, La (KLFY) – Next Level Fitness is partnering with the Smile Community Action Agency to host a summer fitness and entrepreneurship camp.

The trainers help develop young people by encouraging them to use their best skills.

Fitness trainer Amber Bessard says the post-pandemic program allows the participating children to shake things up a little and return to a sense of normalcy.

“We want these children to be active because of the pandemic. It kept her inside for so long. “

Throughout the week, entrepreneurs and community leaders talk to the children about what it takes to successfully achieve their dreams and goals.

Craig Mathews, CEO of the Smile Community Action Agency, says the camp will expand their spirit and cultivate greatness in them.

“We are working with the Next Level Fitness Center to teach young people the importance of having a balance between their social, emotional, physical and intellectual beings.”

There are 30 places available for low-income parents.
