After this transaction, Surgical Directions will operate independently from Mednax. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“We are incredibly excited to see how this will benefit our customers,” said Leslie Basham, President & Chief Executive Officer of Surgical Directions. “Our new ownership structure gives us the freedom, flexibility and focus to work with our customers to provide innovative digital and advisory solutions for improved procedural maintenance. We look forward to continuing to work with Mednax as a customer and providing valuable support to affiliated practices and hospital partners across the country. ”
