To support a growing customer list, The Royals has appointed Kirsten Dunlaevy [pictured] in the newly created role of Head of Business Management Sydney.
In this role, Dunlaevy will lead relationships with key clients and, in collaboration with the management team, will drive the agency’s continued growth.
After an initial slowdown at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Royals saw strong business growth in the second half of 2020. They built on existing relationships with clients like Coates Hire, Athena and MyState Bank and welcomed new clients including Coopers Brewery, Driva and Finspo.
Dunlaevy was most recently Group Director, Client Services & Business Development at R / GA Australia, where she spent a little over four years. She previously worked in local independent digital businesses and Moon Communications. Before arriving in Australia, she worked in her hometown of New York City at agencies such as DDB, FCB and Saatchi & Saatchi. Her customer portfolio includes blue chip brands such as Samsung, Telstra, Kimberly-Clark, Jimmy Brings, the Sydney Film Festival and Westfield.
Royals Managing Partner Dan Beaumont said, “From the moment we met Kirsten, we knew she was the ideal Royal. She brings world class experience, a strategic mind, a passion to inspire teams to do their best job, and a lot of excitement. We are proud to have emerged in a strong position from 2020 and Kirsten on the team will help us to further improve the quality of our production for customers. “
Dunlaevy added: “I am very excited to be part of The Royals. I was immediately drawn to their transparent approach to partnerships and their commitment to enabling change for clients through undeniable creativity. Plus, the opportunity to do a great job alongside their list of brave, collaborative clients was one I couldn’t say no to. I look forward to helping them navigate increasingly challenging market conditions and achieve business goals. “
