Two-week ESB Cert Camp courses available now

VICTORIA, Texas – Victoria East High School is now offering students the opportunity to earn an ESB (Entrepreneurship and Small Business) certification as part of a two-week ESB Cert Camp course.
Students visiting the school face-to-face take the course on campus, while distant learners take part through TEAMS. To successfully complete ESB certification, students must validate their skills and knowledge by working in a craft as their own boss and pursuing ESB career goals. Students must ensure that they are college and career ready and meet one of the college, career and military readiness requirements for graduation.
“Earning Entrepreneurship and Small Business Certification expands the opportunities for students in both post-secondary education and the workforce,” said Amy Alexander, ESB Cert Camp instructor. “This program provides students with an additional tool to help them plan their plans
future success after graduation. “
32 students are registered for the first ESB Cert Camp.
